HIS
PHILOSOPHY
'Art is society, and society is the ingredient from which art is created.
If I can use my talent to touch another life and make it better, then I
will have fulfilled the purpose for which God put me on this earth.'
Traditional

A GREAT VISIT BY OUR FRIENDS FROM SAN FRANCISCO!

Between February 1st 2008, two ladies, Sanna Thomas and Barbara Lowe from California USA visited Kiserian.
We had a great time, visiting Kiseryan Girls Academy, where our friends planted trees to commemorate their visit. It was also an opportunity Sanna who with friends in the USA seeks to advance the introduction of a computer lab that will link this girls school, with schools in San Francisco California!
Later on the two ladies attended a Church service at Olooseos PCEA Church, and went further inland to visit with friends and family of Jacob Najulo, a member of "The Friends of Sironka Dance Troupe".
Others that Sanna and Barbara were able to visit with were Rapaine Rampei, Florence Auma, Annah Monirei, and Elijah Olkupai all members of the Friends of Sironka Dance Troupe who last fall visited and performed in many schools in Mill valley, San Francisco California.
The visit by Sanna and Barbara wound up with a tree planting exercise that was very well received by the girls and staff of Kiseryan Girls High School.
It is hoped that The Friends of Sironka will with the help of Sanna, Barbara and the Mill valley School District in California, againin 2008, visit and perform Maasai and Luo Cultural song and dance, and hold workshops!
