DANCE TROUPE MEMBERS:
Many lives have been touched by the financial support gotten from
performances by the friends of Sironka dance troupe, and from
sales of his Batik art in the United States of America. Tumpes Masasi's Story:
In 2004 with his father Ole Masasi(L), Tumpes Masasi stands
outside his old house before he traveled to the United States
in 2004
Tumpes with his wife Joyce, and their two sons, Sironka
and Amos, stand outside their newly built home!
Richard's Story:
Faith, hard work, and determination to tell
of Maasai Culture in the United States and the United Kingdom,
have helped Richard redefine how he and his family can live
a better life.
By day his solar charger traps energy.
By night Richard turns on the lights!
Richard, his wife Peninah, and their sons Laanoi
and Leyian, outside the new house he built on his return from
the United States in the year 2002.
Today after his second tour of the United States and United
Kingdom, Richard has held on to the good things that his Maasai
Culture values. He has also bought and developed a commercial
plot!
